Field Generator Mechanic Job Opportunity in Calgary, AB

Talon Recruiting has partnered with a National Heavy Industrial company. We are in search of a Field Mechanic to join their team in Calgary, AB.

The ideal fit will have extensive knowledge of generators and industrial equipment repair.

Responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment powered with diesel, gasoline ,LPG or natural gas engines.

To support our company mission to keep our customers’ equipment running with the least amount of down time possible.

• Must maintain excellent rapport with customers.
• Must stay current with technical knowledge on products we support.
• Must ensure we use “safety” in all activities encountered throughout the day.
• Must be willing to work overtime as needed to satisfy customer to include off-hours emergency calls.

• Complete all service jobs that are assigned to you.
• Communicate with the Lead Engine Technician on any unusual service problems encountered or for any technical assistance needed.
• Attend service training classes offered to maintain knowledge on new products, or for refreshers on products not encountered too often.
• Complete and submit all paperwork daily for jobs worked on

• Must have very good skills in repairing industrial equipment, with a minimum of two (2) years’ experience repairing products we represent.
• Must successfully complete any training courses required.
• Strong customer orientation
• Must be a good communicator – written and verbal.
• Time management: the ability to organize and manage multiple priorities.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.

• $32 - $45 hour based on experience
