Raise is currently hiring a Facilities Technician on behalf of our client. They’re expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. Note:
The primary pay rate is based on T4 classification; however, we will also consider applications from candidates interested in an INC classification, where applicable.
Facilities Technician to join our clients operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing routine operating, maintenance, and project activities across our facilities and pipeline infrastructure. You will work closely with internal team members and external contractors to ensure all assets are safely maintained, accurately located, and compliant with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities- Provide active control duties and coordination for external contractors performing work on-site.
- Perform routine operating and preventative maintenance duties at facilities and along the pipeline right-of-way (ROW).
- Participate in a regular on-call rotation, respond promptly to emergency situations, and execute emergency management preparedness and response procedures.
- Respond to One-Call tickets to accurately locate and mark underground pipelines and pipeline ROWs.
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot specialized test equipment; utilize and maintain engineering prints with minimal direction.
- Ensure all day-to-day work tasks and duties strictly adhere to Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) policies, company procedures, and applicable legislation.
- Assist other technicians and complete other operational tasks as required.
- 2 to 4 years of hands‑on experience in pipeline operations, facilities maintenance, or an industrial trade environment.
- Demonstrated ability to read, interpret, and maintain technical drawings, schematics, and prints with minimal supervision.
- Strong working knowledge of HS&E policies, regulatory standards, and emergency response procedures within the energy or utility sector.
- Valid driver's license with a clean abstract, physical capability to perform field maintenance tasks, and willingness to participate in an active on-call rotation.
