Join Metrie as a Millwright specializing in maintenance in Calgary. This position focuses on proactive maintenance practices and machine safety within a collaborative environment.
As a Millwright at Metrie, you'll be integral to our manufacturing process, ensuring our equipment and machinery operate smoothly. You must hold a Journeyman Millwright ticket and have at least 3 years of relevant experience.
Your role will involve maintaining, inspecting, and repairing machinery to ensure top-quality production of interior finishings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and manage preventative maintenance protocols
• Inspect and clean all mechanical systems routinely
• Install safety controls and equipment enhancements
• Work alongside production operators to enhance skills and reduce downtime
• Document and maintain all maintenance records accurately
Requirements:
• Mandatory Journeyman Millwright certification
• Over 3 years of experience in tool and machinery maintenance
• Effective problem-solving and priority planning skills
• Strong communication with a focus on teamwork
• Comprehensive understanding of safety requirements
