Position: Full-Time Plumber Role University
The University of Calgary seeks a full-time Plumber in its Operations and Maintenance department. This pivotal role involves ensuring all plumbing systems are well-maintained and compliant.

Working independently with minimal supervision, you will handle installation and repairs of diverse plumbing infrastructure. The job encompasses a high-demand work environment where your skills will be put to the test. You’ll interact with various university teams to maintain comfort and safety within campus buildings. You must be prepared for varied tasks and physical challenges, ensuring every job meets university standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete plumbing assignments following University specifications

• Maintain awareness of evolving plumbing techniques and codes

• Ensure tools and work spaces remain in safe working order

• Foster good relations with university stakeholders for service satisfaction

• Undertake personal training and skill enhancement efforts

Requirements:

• Provincial or interprovincial Plumbing Trade Certification with experience

• Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License

• Knowledge of the Canadian Plumbing Code is vital

• Ability to meet physical job demands

• Proven excellence in customer service
