Field Heavy Duty Mechanic

Finning is expanding and seeks skilled Heavy Duty Mechanics for its Calgary operations. You will use your field experience to work on Caterpillar machinery while ensuring precise documentation and exceptional customer interaction. This role requires a proactive approach and adherence to safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair Caterpillar and other mechanical equipment

• Utilize Caterpillar SIS and ET for effective troubleshooting

• Complete necessary service documentation accurately

• Engage with customers and collaborate with support staff

• Assist Service Supervisor with various mechanical tasks

Requirements:

• Journeyperson Heavy Equipment Technician Certification

• Minimum two years field truck experience required

• Valid driver’s license and a recent driver abstract

• Previous Caterpillar experience preferred

• Self-motivated and safety oriented
