Job Description Dry Build is looking for experienced drywall installers and drywall crews to work with us on a subcontract basis in Calgary and surrounding areas. We are looking for reliable professionals who can complete drywall installation efficiently, maintain good workmanship, and keep job sites clean and organized. Projects may include basements, renovations, new construction, garages, and commercial work. This is a subcontractor position, not a full-time employee position.
Work will be offered based on project availability, scope, pricing, and schedule. We are interested in building long-term relationships with reliable installers and crews who consistently deliver quality work.
Responsibilities Install drywall on walls and ceilings according to project specifications
Measure, cut, fit, and fasten drywall accurately
Work with standard 1/2" and 5/8" drywall and specialty boards when required
Install drywall around openings, bulkheads, mechanical systems, and other construction details
Follow drawings and project instructions
Maintain consistent installation quality
Protect finished surfaces and maintain a clean work area
Complete assigned work within agreed schedules
Communicate promptly regarding site conditions, material issues, or delays
Follow site safety requirements and applicable construction standards
Requirements Proven professional drywall installation experience
Own drywall tools and equipment required to perform the work
Reliable transportation to job sites
Ability to work independently or as part of a crew
Ability to read measurements and basic construction drawings
Good workmanship and attention to detail
Reliable communication and scheduling
Ability to meet agreed project deadlines
Appropriate business registration, insurance, WCB coverage, or other subcontractor documentation may be required depending on the project
Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
Subcontract work without employee-style scheduling
