Position Summary
De Havilland Aircraft of Canada is seeking  experienced Structural Maintenance Technicians  to join our  Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO)  operation in Calgary. The successful candidate will have a minimum of  three years of hands-on aircraft structures or related aviation maintenance experience  and will perform structural inspection, repair, modification, and maintenance activities under the direction and supervision of appropriately licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs).

The Structural Maintenance Technician performs aircraft structural inspection, repair, modification, and maintenance activities on De Havilland aircraft under the direction and supervision of appropriately licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineers (AMEs) and in accordance with approved maintenance data, company procedures, and applicable Transport Canada regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for experienced  unlicensed aircraft structures candidates , including individuals with hands-on sheet metal, aircraft structural repair, or aviation maintenance experience who are looking to continue developing their skills within an established MRO environment.

Key Responsibilities

Perform aircraft structural inspection, repair, modification, and maintenance activities in accordance with approved maintenance data and company procedures.

Assist AMEs with structural maintenance and repair tasks on aircraft.

Interpret and work from aircraft maintenance manuals, Structural Repair Manuals (SRMs), engineering drawings, work orders, and other approved technical documentation.

Perform sheet metal fabrication, forming, drilling, riveting, fastening, and structural assembly activities.

Assist with removal and installation of aircraft structural components and assemblies.

Conduct inspections of aircraft structures to identify damage, corrosion, defects, and other conditions requiring maintenance.

Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring equipment, and specialized aircraft maintenance tooling safely and effectively.

Complete maintenance documentation and work records accurately and in accordance with company requirements.

Maintain proper configuration, traceability, and documentation of completed work.

Follow all applicable Transport Canada regulations, company procedures, safety requirements, and approved maintenance practices.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Communicate maintenance issues, discrepancies, and required follow-up to AMEs and supervisors.
