MEC is seeking a knowledgeable Lead Technician with at least one year of experience in bicycle repair. This position emphasizes mentorship, as you will train frontline staff in best practices while efficiently managing inventory. You will also play a key role in the ski shop during winter, ensuring proper maintenance of ski equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble bicycles according to MEC standards

• Perform repairs like wheel truing and drivetrain adjustments

• Install accessories such as fenders and racks

• Maintain a clean and organized workshop environment

• Provide member service following the SERVE standard

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Bicycle Mechanic

• Proficient in parts terminology and service techniques

• Ability to demonstrate bicycle building skills

• Basic computer skills using D365 systems

• Capability to lift up to 50 pounds
