Begin your journey as a Mobile Apprentice Technician at Bison Transport!
This role offers hands-on experience with preventative maintenance and repairs on our diverse fleet.
As a Mobile Apprentice Technician/Mechanic, you will work closely with the Service Coordinator and fellow technicians to execute maintenance tasks efficiently. With your registration with Alberta Apprenticeship and a keen desire for growth, you will diagnose and repair issues, providing excellent service to our drivers while embracing the outdoor work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Diagnose problems found during inspections
• Execute necessary repairs using the Mobile Repair Unit
• Carry out preventative maintenance on the Bison fleet
• Provide exceptional service to all drivers
• Work independently in outdoor conditions across varying terrains
Requirements:
• Minimum Level 1 Heavy Equipment Technician certification
• Must be a registered Apprentice with Alberta programs
• Experience with trailer mechanics is an asset
• Valid Class 5 Driver’s License required
• Must lift and carry items up to 50 lbs
