Rostel Industries seeks an Expert Journeyman Millwright in Calgary, AB. This role focuses on oilfield machinery installation and maintenance with a commitment to quality and safety.
In this Journeyman role, you will engage in diverse tasks like assembling equipment, conducting maintenance, and ensuring that machinery operates smoothly and efficiently. Your background in Millwrighting will help you mentor apprentices and communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues. This position calls for a strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving within a vibrant workplace.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install and dismantle mechanical equipment accurately
• Operate machine tools like lathes and grinders
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot issues
• Read schematics to ensure clarity in tasks
• Promote a safety-conscious environment proactively
Requirements:
• Minimum of 72 months of Millwrighting experience
• Valid Red Seal Journeyman Millwright Certification
• GED or High School Education required
• Strong work ethic and motivational skills
• Experience in a service-oriented facility
