Based out of our Edmonton location, you will report to the Fabrication department's Manufacturing Supervisor. This position involves using various welding techniques and tools to create critical Powell products. Embrace a culture of teamwork, safety, and ongoing learning while contributing to meaningful projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fit welded components to specs from drawings
• Operate plasma cutters and band saws
• Conduct light maintenance on welding tools
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace
• Comply with safety protocols and attend training
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Journeyperson Welder certification
• At least 2 years of structural welding experience
• CWB Certification required
• Ability to read and comprehend drawings
• Adaptability and team collaboration required
