Join Kenn Borek Air as an Upholstery Technician in Calgary, AB. This full-time opportunity involves crafting, maintaining, and refurbishing interior aircraft components.
The Kenn Borek Air Maintenance team is now hiring for the Upholstery department. In this role, technicians will fabricate, inspect, and install a range of aircraft interior items, including upholstery and cabinetry. You will work closely with various materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Fabricate and modify aircraft interior coverings
• Inspect and repair upholstery, carpets, and lighting fixtures
• Fit and install aircraft paneling and headliners
• Document all work according to manuals
• Utilize tools and adhesives for various materials
Requirements:
• Valid Driver’s License with abstracts required
• Prior experience as an upholsterer is advantageous
• Skilled in using hand tools for upholstery
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs
