In this role at Cargojet, you will be responsible for performing aircraft maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and technical standards. Your expertise will help keep our diverse fleet in peak condition, directly impacting our operational effectiveness. As part of a committed team, you will engage in hands-on mechanical repairs, oversee apprentices, and uphold Cargojet’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct inspections and repairs on all aircraft systems
• Ensure timely maintenance and servicing of aircraft
• Execute daily maintenance and overhaul tasks
• Evaluate aircraft condition for effective repairs
• Lead and mentor junior Aircraft Apprentices and Trades Helpers
Requirements:
• Must hold a valid Aircraft Maintenance Engineer's Licence
• Experience or Type Rating with B757, B767, B777
• Capable of lifting 50 lbs for repairs
• Competent in MS Word and Excel
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities
