Part Time Park Maintenance Operator

Join the Calgary Stampede as a casual Part Time Park Maintenance Operator in Calgary, Alberta. This role involves skilled manual labour and heavy equipment operation to maintain the park's facilities and support events.

As a member of the Parks & Facility Services team, the Park Maintenance Operator performs heavy manual labour and operates specialized motors for park and building maintenance. You will ensure safe operations, direct employees, and assist with construction projects, while adapting to a flexible work schedule that includes evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate heavy equipment like skid steers and forklifts

• Direct employees around work sites and equipment

• Complete daily logs and vehicle inspections

• Provide assistance with maintenance projects as needed

• Drive varied vehicles including water trucks and trailers

Requirements:

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license with Air Brake Endorsement

• 3-5 years forklift experience preferred

• Skilled in operating complex machinery

• Exceptional guest service skills

• WHMIS Certification
