Lead the Vehicle Maintenance department at the stunning Lake Louise Ski Resort. This hands-on supervisory role involves maintaining the resort's diverse fleet of vehicles and ensuring operational efficiency.
As the Vehicle Maintenance Supervisor, you'll oversee mechanics while actively participating in diagnostics and repairs. Your leadership will ensure the safe and reliable operation of heavy and light-duty vehicles, along with specialized equipment essential for resort functions. This includes conducting preventive maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting to uphold the highest standards of safety and performance.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise and support journeyperson and apprentice mechanics
• Assign daily tasks based on operational needs
• Provide technical support and training to maintenance staff
• Oversee inspections, repairs, and seasonal fleet prep
• Monitor equipment condition and improve fleet reliability
Requirements:
• Valid Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification
• 1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Experience with diesel engines and hydraulics
• Commitment to safety in all weather conditions
