At Aecon, we are eager to bring on a Rubber Tire Backhoe Operator with over three years of experience. This role includes responsibilities such as performing equipment checks, loading materials, and verifying underground utility locates. Successful candidates will work in a team-centric environment and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
• Excavate foundations and backfill utility lines diligently
• Operate specialized machinery and tools effectively
• Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks daily
• Collaborate with team members on construction sites
• Follow safety regulations at all times while operating equipment
Requirements:
• Minimum 3+ years of operating experience required
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license mandatory
• Willing to work overtime, weekends, and night shifts
• Communicate professionally with coworkers and supervisors
• Compliance with drug and alcohol testing mandates
