Painter

We’re looking for a reliable painter to join our Dry Build Alberta team on a contract basis. Work includes basements, houses, and light commercial projects across Calgary. Not a full-time position — we assign jobs as they come. Must be able to finish work from start to finish with quality and efficiency.

Job Description
Dry Build Alberta is looking for an experienced Painter who can handle painting projects from prep to final coat.

We’re a Calgary-based drywall and finishing company that occasionally needs painters for our basement developments, home renovations, and touch-up jobs.

This isn’t full-time employment — it’s ideal for someone who already works in the trade and wants extra jobs on a contract basis. You’ll be paid per project or hourly, depending on the job.

We’re looking for someone responsible, skilled, and proud of their work — the kind of person who can walk into a finished basement and say, “That looks perfect.”

Responsibilities

Minimum 2 years of painting experience (residential or basement work).

Must know how to complete a job from start to finish independently.

Own tools, brushes, rollers, and reliable transportation.

Ability to match colors, prep surfaces, and work efficiently.

Drywall repair or knockdown texture skills are a strong asset.

Reliable, punctual, and respectful communication.

Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in residential or commercial painting.

Ability to complete full painting projects independently (from prep to cleanup).

Knowledge of materials, tools, and application techniques.

Attention to detail and reliability are a must.

Valid driver’s license and access to transportation.

Basic drywall repair and taping skills are an asset.

Flexible, steady contract work as projects come in.

Pay based on experience and quality.

Work with a trusted Calgary company focused on quality results.

Opportunity for ongoing collaboration if performance is solid.
