As a Diesel Mechanic with United Rentals, you’ll perform essential maintenance on a variety of complex equipment, ensuring safety and professionalism on the job.
Your role will encompass repairs across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems, all while assisting in training lower level technicians. You’ll also maintain documentation of work performed and assist with on-site repairs for customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct safe maintenance and repair of rental equipment
• Train and mentor lower level technicians
• Complete work documentation accurately and promptly
• Travel to customer job sites for equipment repairs
• Assist with equipment pick-up and delivery
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• 3-5 years of relevant repair experience
• Advanced mechanical aptitude and tool knowledge
• Strong customer service and communication skills
