Junior Security Technician

Your role involves installing, programming, and maintaining security systems for small to medium projects while providing exceptional customer service.

Convergint is seeking a passionate Junior Security Technician to join our team. Working under direct supervision, you'll handle installation, system start-up, and customer training. This position requires a developing skill set in electronic security systems and troubleshooting. You will also respond to service calls and assist in project commissioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and program electronic security systems

• Respond to scheduled and emergency service calls

• Diagnose and troubleshoot various equipment issues

• Complete detailed service reports accurately

• Mentor less experienced technicians on best practices

Requirements:

• Minimum one year of relevant field experience

• Experience in the electronic and security industry preferred

• Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude required

• Valid driver's license for jobsite visits

• Good verbal and written communication skills
