As an Avionics Technician at De Havilland Aircraft of Canada, you will work in the Twin Otter final assembly organization. This responsible position requires skills in electrical wiring and basic avionics systems. You will also maintain and repair systems, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform electrical wiring and system installations in aircraft production
• Troubleshoot and repair avionics systems including communication and navigation
• Maintain detailed records of all inspections and repairs
• Conduct system checks ensuring compliance with safety standards
• Utilize test equipment and tools for effective system installation
Requirements:
• Hold or pursuing current AME “E” Transport Canada license
• Experience in aircraft wiring repair and avionics systems
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in confined spaces
