As a Fire Alarm Technician, you will support new and installed fire alarm systems for Convergint customers. The work includes programming, commissioning, repairs, inspections, and service calls. You will also communicate project status, complete reports, and help resolve equipment or software problems.
Key Responsibilities:
Test, repair, and service fire alarm systems
Troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment and software
Perform wiring checkout, start-ups, and programming
Complete commissioning reports and service documentation
Communicate project requirements and status regularly
Requirements:
CFAA Fire Alarm Technician certification
At least two years of commercial experience
Two years in installation, start-up, and commissioning
Programming, troubleshooting, and electrical aptitude
Strong customer service and communication skills
