Use your welding expertise at Fort Hills as a Journeyperson Welder with Truck for NACG’s rotating day and night schedule. Heavy equipment repairs anchor this site-based position.
North American Construction Group seeks a Red Seal or Alberta Journeyperson Welder with a properly outfitted welding truck. The work includes fleet repairs, fabrication, and maintenance support for trucks, dozers, shovels, and excavators. Stick, MIG, large wire-feed welding, plasma cutting, lance work, and crack repairs are among the stated capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Repair fleet frames and dump bodies
- Complete dozer ice lugging and pin lancing
- Perform RPRS and crack gouging repairs
- Fabricate numbers, signs, stands, and needed items
- Work indoors or outdoors as required
- Red Seal or Alberta Journeyperson Welder certification
- Welding truck with a proper welding deck
- Heavy equipment repair experience with trucks and dozers
- Experience using Stick, MIG, plasma cutters, and lances
- $5M liability insurance
