The South Georgia facility seeks locum tenens pathology coverage to support existing staff during planned time off and conference attendance. This outpatient clinic requires intermittent coverage totaling 3-4 weeks annually. The organization can provide assistance with Georgia medical licensure requirements.

This Georgia region features diverse attractions including aquarium facilities, historic districts, and theme parks alongside outdoor recreational opportunities such as whitewater rafting, fishing, and horseback riding. The area provides access to state parks with waterfalls, mountain peaks, and scenic trails within the national forest system, plus wine tasting experiences at local vineyards.

• The pathologist will handle daily case volumes of 20-30 specimens including general anatomic and clinical pathology cases, cytology, pap smears, and urine specimens.
• Grossing responsibilities are required along with performing frozen sections.
• The pathologist manages complex cases while technicians handle routine biopsies.
• Board certification in Anatomic/Clinical Pathology is mandatory.
• No call requirements exist for this day shift position.
