Process Engineer
Position Overview
Shaw Industries is looking for a Process Engineer to lead continuous improvement in the Twisting and Heatset departments.
Responsibilities:
+ The successful candidate must have a passion for continuous improvement and the desire and ability to lead internal teams to drive results.
+ Build trusting relationships throughout the plant .
+ Lead Lean/Kaizen/Six Sigma process and projects.
+ Drive improvement in equipment reliability. Lead EITs as necessary.
+ Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills with attention to detail.
+ Proven ability to work on several projects simultaneously and under tight schedules.
+ Knowledge of data collection and interpretation;
Black Belt training preferred .
+ Experience in project management, associated principles, and tools are preferred.
+ Tenacity to accomplish tasks, follow-through, and meet deadlines.
+ Analyze process and performance parameters to improve product efficiency and output.
+ Manage the implementation of any process changes.
+ Investigate processing and quality problems and implement data-driven solutions.
+ Will act as the Waste Champion for driving waste improvement projects within the facility.
+ Provide engineering and troubleshooting support to all departments as needed.
+ Perform all job duties using safe work methods.
+ Perform other duties as assigned by Department Manager as needed

Requirements:
+ Bachelor's degree required ;
Engineering preferred
+ Must possess good organizational, computer, analytical, and leadership skills
+ Prefer experience in yarn processes
+ Prefer candidate with Six Sigma Black Belt
+ Prefer candidate with mechanical aptitude
Work Shift
8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
