Twisting & Heatset PM Tech

Job Summary:

The purpose of the Twisting & Heatset Maintenance Tech to repair and maintain Twisting and Heatset equipment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Follow all Safety, Plant & Quality Guidelines

* Operate and fill in unoccupied jobs when needed.

* Repair and maintain Twisting and Heatset equipment.

* Assist in lot changes in Twisting and Heatset as they occur.

Performance Expectations (if applicable):

* Lifting 1 to 75 pounds is required for tools, parts, and equipment periodically during shift.

* Standing as required periodically as needed throughout shift approximately 6 hours per shift.

* Stooping as required periodically as needed throughout shift.

* Bending as required periodically for machine repair and lot changes throughout shift.

* Reaching is required for machine repair and lot changes periodically throughout shift.

* Good hand/eye coordination.

* Must be able to distinguish colors and shades.

* Repetitive hand motions 3 out of 8 hours using wrenches, snips, scissors, and hand tools.

Experience/

Education Requirements:

* High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

* Must be able to read and write and do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.

* Must be computer trainable (data entry).

* Must have previous twisting and heat set maintenance experience on continuous autoclave and direct cable twisters.

Other Requirements:

* Overtime is required on occasion.

* Perform any other duties as assigned.

* All accidents must be reported immediately.
