* Job Summary:

** Responsible for operating sewing machine and rollers to feed the coater j-boxes1st Shift
*
* Key Responsibilities:

*** Use computer to scan roll labels into JIP program
* Verify coating type and weight of greige roll being sewn in
* Tag rolls with appropriate color sticker as needed
* Operate console to unroll greige rolls
* Sew tails of turf together
* Verify straightness and integrity of seam prior to sending turf into j-box
* Feed turf into j-box
* Maintain j-box level
* Communicate with console operators regarding line speed & product changes
* Perform autonomous maintenance tasks as required
* Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
** Qualifications and Requirements:
*** Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
* Ability to solve practical problems
* Ability to read and understand documents such as SOPs and Safety Data Sheets
* Ability to communicate effectively with leads and supervisor
* Basic computer skills including internet use and spreadsheets
