General Labor - Material Handler

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our manufacturing leadership team as a General Laborer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing operations, physical labor, and the ability to work well in a team environment and ensure the production process has a continuous and steady flow of the production of molded rubber goods. This is a very labor-intensive role that works in all types of weather, moving, lifting, and lacing all types of tires from passenger car to semi-truck tires.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Stack finished products on pallets
• Loading trucks
• Moving, loading, and lacing all forms of tires
• Work in all weather conditions
• Collaborate effectively as a team

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Operate within a plant environment that includes extreme cold and heat; work near moving mechanical parts.
• Work around moderate to loud noise levels, particularly in the production area.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Stand for 9 hours a day, walk, use hands to handle or feel, and perform repetitive movements such as reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, or crawling.

Education and Experience:

• 1-2 years’ experience working in an industrial manufacturing operations environment, preferred.
