Apache Mills, Inc., a worldwide leader in floor mat manufacturing, continues to grow its manufacturing operations. We are seeking a qualified candidate to join our Maintenance Team.
The Maintenance Technician II position supports the Maintenance Team by conducting skilled repairs on production machinery and auxiliary equipment during the assigned shift at an acceptable quality level to meet or exceed expectations. This role communicates machinery and equipment status to determine resource and part needs. The Technician maintains a high standard of housekeeping to sustain 6S principles.
Essential Job Functions- 2–3 years of industrial maintenance experience.
- Arc flash training, storm water training, and LOTO training (Lock out Tag Out).
- Repair mechanical on presses, heat transfers, baggers, ovens, pneumatics/hydraulic equipment; track belts.
- Basic welding skills.
- Basic knowledge of shop tools and wearing appropriate PPE when using shop tools.
- Report or communicate unsafe acts.
- Electrical knowledge is a plus (not required).
- Follow safety procedures for safe operation of machinery and equipment.
- Adhere to LOTO procedures while working closely to machinery and equipment.
- Perform basic jobs requiring power and hand tools such as wrenches, calipers, screwdrivers, hammer, saws, utility knives, push knives, scrapers, air hoses, broom, shovel, squeegee, and vacuums.
- Maintain good housekeeping in designated areas, keeping tool boards and supplies in correct locations.
- Promote a safe and healthy work environment on all company properties.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and company policies and procedures.
- Show respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all encounters with vendors, visitors, and employees.
- Read, understand, and execute SOPs, SOCs, work orders, and safety procedures including LOTO.
- Review preventive and corrective maintenance schedules to determine priorities for the assigned shift.
- Perform operations, maintenance, and repairs at a skilled level in one or more trades (Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Welding, etc.).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex equipment problems; repair or replace broken or worn machinery parts.
- Utilize multiple skilled trades to perform mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic repairs.
- Maintain operating logs on all equipment; record, correct, and report all faults, deficiencies and other unusual occurrences.
- Aid higher‑level maintenance technicians with repairs and installation of machinery and equipment.
- Prepare documentation for repairs and maintenance.
- Work within a team setting in a fast‑paced environment with a sense of urgency; cross‑train to perform all essential job duties within the team.
- Meet or exceed all performance and productivity standards, working safely, maintaining acceptable quality levels, and achieving desired output levels.
- High‑school diploma or equivalent required.
- Specialized training in a maintenance discipline such as electrical, hydraulic, or pneumatic.
- Perform other assignments as requested or as business needs require.
- Pass drug screen and meet acceptable criminal background requirements.
- Demonstrate a safety and quality mindset as top priorities.
- Work overtime as needed, including weekends.

Schedule:
12‑hour swing shift | Day swing shift 7am‑7pm (12 hrs.) | Swing shift, every other weekend (may require holiday if schedule)
