Job DescriptionWork schedule:
Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM. Circulator call required 4–5 days per month, depending on staffing needs.
Sign on Bonus: $10,000
Responsibilities- Collects patient health data systematically and documents relevant information.
- Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.
- Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.
- Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment.
- Educates patients on procedures, answers related questions, and ensures patient safety throughout care.
- Assists with patient preparation for surgery, including starting IVs, documenting pertinent information, and reporting critical values.
- Ensures accurate and complete handoff to/from surgery, including verifying consent and compliance with hospital policy.
- Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.
- Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.
- Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes systematically, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.
- Administers medications accurately and in compliance with policy.
- Demonstrates competent technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment used in the Surgical Services department.

- Associate's of Nursing [Required]
- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]
- 1+ years experience Med‑Surgical, Surgical, or endoscopy nursing [Preferred]
- Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
- Certified Post‑Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) [Preferred]
- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]
- Acute/Critical Care Nursing - Adult (CCRN) [Preferred]
