Job Details
Location:
1035 RED BUD RD NE, Calhoun, GA 30701. Shift: Night (US), 7:00p.m. – 7:00a.m. – 3×12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends. Pay range: $31.44 – $54.92 per hour. Sign‑on bonus: $20,000 plus up to 20% differential of total base pay based on level advancement.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments through observation, interview, and physical exam to gather history and vital signs.
- Develop and implement individualized, SMART care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
- Administer medications and treatments safely, including oral, IV, and IM routes, and perform procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and IV therapy.
- Provide education to patients and families about conditions, treatment, self‑care, discharge instructions, and follow‑up care.
- Advocate for patient safety and rights, acting as liaison between patients and the healthcare system.
- Participate in performance‑improvement activities, unit‑based quality improvement, evidence‑based practice, and research initiatives.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other providers to ensure coordinated care.
- Collect, analyze, and document patient data; prioritize needs and ensure timely care.
- Document patient care activities accurately and timely in medical records.
- Evaluate and adjust care plans by monitoring effectiveness and incorporating feedback.
- Perform nursing procedures such as wound care, catheterization, and specimen collection.
- Maintain patient safety by adhering to policies, maintaining a safe environment, and participating in bedside shift reports.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Education:
Associate’s Degree in Nursing (required);
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (preferred). - Experience:
1+ years of hospital/acute‑care nursing (preferred);
Registered Nurse (RN) experience required. - Licenses &
Certifications:
Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS) (required);
Registered Nurse (RN) (required);
Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC‑OB) (preferred);
Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) (preferred);
Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) (preferred);
Acute/Critical Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CCNS) (preferred);
Electronic Fetal Monitoring (CEFM) (preferred);
Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) (preferred);
Neonatal Med Certification (NEONATAL MED) (preferred); NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) (preferred);
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (preferred);
Oncology Nurse Society (ONS) (preferred);
Low Risk Neonatal Nursing (RNCLRN) (preferred);
Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNCMNN) (preferred);
Neonatal Intensive Care Nursing (RNCNIC) (preferred); S.T.A.B.L.E. Certification (preferred);
Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) (preferred);
Certified Med‑Surg Nurse (CMSRN) (preferred).
