** Work Schedule** :
Monday-Friday 1pm-9pm, rotating endoscopy call

** Sign on Bonus:**  $20,000 for eligible candidates

+ Analyzes assessment data to determine and validate diagnoses with the patient, family, and healthcare providers.

+ Identifies and formulates expected outcomes based on diagnoses, ensuring they are realistic, attainable, and culturally appropriate.

+ Communicates effectively with patients, families, physicians, and staff, maintaining professional relationships and promoting a positive environment.

+ Educates patients on procedures, answers related questions, and ensures patient safety throughout care.

+ Assists with patient preparation for surgery, including starting IVs, documenting pertinent information, and reporting critical values.

+ Ensures accurate and complete handoff to/from surgery, including verifying consent and compliance with hospital policy.

+ Develops individualized plans of care in collaboration with the patient, family, and healthcare providers, ensuring continuity and documentation.

+ Implements interventions from the plan of care safely, timely, and appropriately, documenting actions taken.

+ Evaluates patient progress towards outcomes systematically, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and plans of care as needed.

+ Administers medications accurately and in compliance with policy.

+ Demonstrates competent technical skills and operational knowledge of all equipment used in the Surgical Services department.

+ Other duties as assigned.

- Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

* - 1+ years experience Med-Surgical, Surgical, or endoscopy nursing [Preferred]

** Licenses and

Certifications:

- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]

- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS)[Preferred]

- Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS)[Preferred]

- Certified Post-Anesthesia Nurse (CPAN) [Preferred]

- Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) [Preferred]

- Acute/Critical Care Nursing - Adult (CCRN) [Preferred]
