Sales Academy Trainee – July 2026 Cohort

Mohawk is looking for a recent college graduate who can do more with Mohawk Flooring's North American commercial brands. This paid training program offers a 6‑month apprenticeship that leads to a full‑time Account Executive position in one of our US territories. Housing and relocation assistance are provided during training.

• Sales Market, Business and Organizational Knowledge (30%)
  • Understand the global landscape of Mohawk Industries
  • Learn the Commercial Construction business
  • Grow your network within the organization
• Product Knowledge and Application (40%)
  • Understand our product lines and apply them in the correct market segments
  • Apply plant‑tour knowledge into your presentations
  • Understand how the marketing, sales operations, customer service, installs & claims departments work together
• Presentation and Influencing Skills (30%)
  • Develop industry‑best presentation skills
  • Understand the Commercial Flooring industry and leverage relationships with diverse buyer types

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Design, or a related field (certificates also a plus)
• Minimum 2.5 GPA
• No more than three years of professional experience
• Ability to relocate within the USA
• Ability to fly and drive to Mohawk’s domestic locations for training events and meetings

• Collaborate with peers, business leaders, and sales professionals
• Self‑motivated to develop and execute plans for multiple projects simultaneously
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Demonstrated leadership potential in school, community, or workplace
• Self‑starter who thrives with minimal supervision

• Expect to travel approximately 50%
• Flexible work arrangements while maintaining a balance of personal and professional time
• Housing in Dalton, GA fully covered during the 6‑month training program
• Relocation assistance provided for U.S. moves
