Position Summary

The Truck Driver is responsible for making bulk deliveries and pickups with a primary focus on transporting hazardous bulk chemicals/materials to Jessup, GA approximately 2-3 times per week, including weekends and holidays. This position requires overnight stays and strict compliance with all DOT and company safety regulations.

Duties & Responsibilities

Safely transport hazardous bulk chemicals/materials to designated locations
Complete bulk deliveries and pickups in a timely and efficient manner
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Maintain accurate electronic logs (E-Logs) and transportation records
Follow DOT regulations, company procedures, and safety guidelines
Identify and report safety hazards, near misses, and maintenance concerns immediately
Properly utilize required PPE at all times
Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and customers
Maintain professionalism while working independently with minimal supervision

Minimum Qualifications Education

High School Diploma or GED required

Experience

Minimum of 2 years of bulk tanker driving experience

Required Certifications & Licenses

Valid Class A CDL
Valid DOT Medical Card
Hazmat Certification
Tanker Endorsement

Additional Requirements

Must pass DOT physical annually
Must pass pre-employment drug screening
Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
