Compensation

Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. The training base rate is $24.87 and after training will be paid component pay based on miles, cases, and stops as applicable. As applicable, this role will also receive overtime compensation.

Schedule
  • Sunday night – Friday.
  • 4 or 5 days workweeks available (2 or 3 days off during the week).
  • Most routes dispatched between 10 pm – 3 am.
  • Must be willing to do team routes when needed.
Main Ingredients of the Job
  • Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
  • Carefully unload products from the trailer with a two‑wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated customer storage areas.
  • Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
  • Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
  • Professionally perform customer service responsibilities to enhance client experience.
  • Perform all pre‑trip and post‑trip equipment inspection.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull 20 to 80+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift.
  • Comfortable driving and working in inclement weather conditions with frequent stops (10+ per shift).
What You Bring to the Table
  • Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
  • Minimum of six months commercial driving experience in any industry OR three months in the food and/or beverage delivery industry.
  • Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
  • Must be able to read and communicate in English; able to hold a conversation, understand highway traffic signs and signals, respond to official inquiries, and enter information on reports and records.
