STARK is seeking a detail-oriented Receiving/Inventory Clerk.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00AM-4:40PM
Job Type: Full-Time
Hiring/Retention Bonus up to $1,000 within the first year!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Receive incoming shipments of carpet, rugs, padding, and related materials.
- Verify shipment contents against purchase orders, packing lists, and bills of lading.
- Inspect products for damage, shortages, overages, or quality concerns.
- Report discrepancies or damages to supervisors and purchasing departments promptly.
- Accurately label and stage received materials for warehouse storage or distribution.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in warehouse/inventory systems.
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventories.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory locations to ensure products are properly stored and organized.
- Assist with transfers, returns, and inventory adjustments as needed.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and scanners safely.
- Maintain clean and organized receiving and storage areas.
- Follow proper handling procedures for luxury carpet and rug products to prevent damage.
- Assist with pulling orders, sample requests, and shipping support when needed.
- Ensure compliance with company safety procedures and warehouse standards.
- Prepare and complete export documentation for all outbound international shipments.
- Verify shipment details including product descriptions, quantities, weights, and country‑of‑origin information.
- Generate and process commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and other export‑related paperwork.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, and internal departments to ensure timely export processing.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company export procedures.
- Maintain organized records of export documents and shipment tracking information.
- Communicate shipment status and documentation requirements with customer service and logistics teams.
- Enter receiving and inventory data accurately and timely.
- Maintain records of receipts, transfers, damages, and returns.
- Communicate effectively with purchasing, customer service, logistics, and warehouse teams.
- Support process improvement initiatives related to inventory accuracy and workflow efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, receiving, inventory, or export documentation experience preferred.
- Experience with inventory management systems and RF scanners is a plus.
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Outlook and Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
