San Diego, CA Immediate Hiring! Full‑Time Opportunity Salary: $23.25 - $27.98 per hour
JOB SUMMARY:
The Scheduler position is responsible for scheduling field and special events personnel, processing hours worked, and providing payroll with required reports and hours worked in a timely and accurate manner. This position is also responsible for assisting in administrative functions for the operation.
- Oversight over all daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the Operations division.
- Successfully identify solutions that balance the needs of the employee with the demands of the operation.
- Create and optimize shifts and assignments, demonstrating flexibility and strategic workforce management, which includes proactively communicating with employees about shift assignments, trade approvals, and PTO requests to ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure satisfactory reconciliation and synchronization of scheduling information in the timekeeping system.
- Review and verify employee hours for accuracy. Assist in recording and maintaining employee attendance records/files and payroll functions.
- Prepare and compile various periodic reports and documents for review and analysis. These may include weekly payroll stats, personnel stats, absence reports, overtime tracking and other related reports.
- Ensure compliance with location specific operating procedures, collective bargaining agreements, union contracts, etc.
- Maintain accurate schedules for PTO, shift trades/giveaways, and float assignments.
- Schedule Public Relations demonstrations, standbys, and special event staffing.
- Promptly and courteously respond to inquiries from field and leadership personnel.
- Execute comprehensive administrative support tasks, leveraging strong organizational and communication skills to manage clerical responsibilities including document processing, supply management, and professional communication handling.
- Responsible for processing accounts payable bills, credit card purchases, and other related duties.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Adherence to and compliance with information systems security is everyone’s responsibility.

Experience:
- Working knowledge and experience in Scheduling/Staffing
- Experience in performing administrative and clerical duties
- Experience working with UKG/Telestaff preferred
Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent
Skills:
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
