As a Regional Portfolio Manager for Conventional Properties with CONAM, you will oversee many properties in a portfolio. You will make decisions to achieve the overall objectives of the communities in your region. You’ll hire, train, mentor, lead and inspire a team of property management professionals. You’ll oversee financial budgeting and reporting and you’ll manage the marketing and leasing efforts for all apartment communities in the portfolio.

We are looking for a strategic full-time Regional Portfolio Manager - Conventional as we grow in the San Diego Region! Pay Range for this position is: $95,000 – $120,000 / Yr + Up to 12% additional compensation with bonus program.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Oversee a portfolio of conventional apartment communities and drive achievement of regional objectives.
- Hire, train, mentor, lead and inspire a team of property management professionals.
- Oversee financial budgeting, reporting, and financial performance to owners and executive teams.
- Manage marketing and leasing efforts for all communities in the portfolio.
- Collaborate with departments to meet property goals and ensure operational excellence.
- Conduct weekly portfolio visits; on-site presence 75% of the time.
- Prepare and deliver high-quality reports, including budgets, variances, forecasts, and market analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; maintain a strong customer-centric approach.
- 5+ years as a regional manager in residential property management with supervisory/management experience.
- State of CA Real Estate License preferred. Must be willing to obtain a license in 90 days of employment.
- Strong operations orientation and engagement in mentoring property teams; fast-paced environment comfort.
- Real Page or Yardi Budget Template experience a plus. CPM designation a plus but not required.
- Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams or Zoom experience.
- Ability to report to owners and executive teams on budgets, variances, forecasting, market analysis and pricing.
- Acquisition and disposition experience; 3rd party / fee management experience essential.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and strong organizational abilities.
- Knowledge of property management software platforms (Yardi, Real Page, Boston Post, Gracehill, Revenue Management, etc.) preferred.
- Ability to work on-site and travel as required.
