Tax and accounting practice is taking on additional bookkeeping projects and looking for another bookkeeper. Unlike a corporate position, candidate must be able to bounce seamlessly between numerous different clients on a moment's notice without getting rattled. Must have a solid understanding of basic accounting principles, be able to operate on both a cash and accrual basis. Must have current experience and be proficient in Quickbooks, Quickbooks Payroll, Excel, as well as payroll and sales tax, accounts payable and receivable.

Must be able to setup and download information from online bank checking, debit and credit card accounts directly into Quickbooks in an organized and usable manner. Must be able to perform critical analysis of books and prepare journal entries and monthly financial statements. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills using the English language, be a team player with a solid work ethic and excellent attention to detail.

Interest and ability to prepare a business entity tax return on Lacerte is a plus but not a requirement.

This is a full-time position. Salary and benefits will be commensurate with experience.

From $ 50,000 - $ 70,000 depending upon experience
