Century Group's dynamic consumer product client is seeking a dedicated Staff Accountant. You will be responsible for account reconciliation, monthly close assistance, financial analysis, budgeting and forecasting, verifying financial records, and supporting the accounting team as needed. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills, attention to detail, and excellent interpersonal and communication abilities. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Expected starting base salary $33 to $38 per hour.
Responsibilities:
- Handle and oversee various accounting operations.
- Perform account reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly close processes.
- Conduct financial analysis.
- Prepare budgets and forecasts.
- Verify financial records.
- Support the accounting team as required.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel.
- Strong knowledge of accounting operations and GAAP.
- Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting best practices.
- Ability to work on-site daily, independently, and in a cross-cultural environment.
- Proactive problem-solving skills.
- Energy and stamina to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience.
- Experience with Net Suite is highly preferred.
