Location: Encino
Century Group is partnering with a growing CPA firm in search of a bookkeeper/staff accountant in the San Fernando Valley. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $26 to $38 per hour.
JOB DESCRIPTION: w ill perform bookkeeping services for clients including bank/credit card reconciliation, journal entries, preparing tax returns (basic individual and business - either corporate, S-Corp, Partnership, or Trust), and assisting partners with complex projects.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Accounting Degree or equivalent accounting/tax experience
- Ability to book adjusted journal entries, understand payroll accounting, bank reconciliations, etc.
- Ability to prepare tax returns
- Quick Books and Lacerte software knowledge
- Proficiency in Excel
