Business Office Manager Rate Of Pay: $20.00/hr Starting; $21.00/hr at 90 days; $22.00/hr at 1 Year
Schedule:
Monday & Tuesday 7:30am to 3:30pm
Wednesday, Thursday, & Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm
Description:This is an entry to mid-level assistant position. The ideal candidate would be highly organized and detail oriented with outstanding analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you are able to work effectively with minimal oversight, while also functioning well in a team environment. Basic knowledge of Account Payable is a plus.
Duties:- Assists with AP aging
- Assists with various department related to special projects
- Expense vouchering
- Purchase Order vouchering
- GL Coding
- Daily check run, register, post checks, and check clearing
- ACH push and ACH pull
- Reconcile vendor statements
- Discrepancy voucher balancing
- Scheduling package pick-up
- Daily Mail Run
- Credit card receipt reconciling
- Incoming phone coverage, directing calls
- Customer refunds
- Employee reimbursements
- Posting payments to customer accounts via checks, cash, credit cards etc.
- Responding to customer needs by providing account details via invoices, statements, and AR aging's
- Cross training for accounting needs in AR and AP for coverage within the department
- Maintaining a professional demeanor interacting with customers, even in stressful situations
- Collects and researches data
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Gathers and analyzes information skillfully
- Protects organization’s value by keeping information confidential
- Presents numerical data effectively
- Able to read and interpret written information.
- Prioritizes and plans work activities
- Uses time efficiently
- Sets goals and objectives daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually
- Participates in meetings
- Displays willingness to make decisions
- Exhibits sound and accurate judgment
- Supports and explains reasoning for decisions;

Makes timely decisions - Follows established collection methodologies in all communications with customers

- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
