** Real Estate firm seeking a Sr. Accountant for growing team*
* We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the commercial real estate development and management industry. The role is based in Marina Del Rey, California, and involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department. The successful candidate will be expected to process and maintain accurate customer credit records, among other responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Accounting Department

- Maintain accurate records of customer credit applications

- Prepare and reconcile financial statements

- Handle Accounts Payable/Receivable and General Ledger

- Conduct audits, bank account reconciliation, and credit card reconciliation

- Oversee building CAM Processing

- Prepare tax returns for external CPA

- Utilize skills in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, Bank Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Journal Entries

- Use Microsoft Excel, or MRI, Yardi for various accounting tasks

- Implement internal controls and ensure their effectiveness

- Communicate effectively with financial institutions, tenants, and vendors.
