Accountant

Currently looking for an accounting professional with a strong combination of accounting, financial analysis and technical skills to join a great company and take on the role of Accountant. The Accountant will have at least 2 years of hands-on involvement with accounting processes, financial analysis, and ERP systems.

• Minimum 2 years of corporate accounting and financial analysis experience
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Accounting / Finance
• Accountant must have advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with analyzing and interpreting financial reports and legal documents
• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions in analysis
• Accountant must have knowledge of policies and practices associated with payroll and benefits administration

• Provide account analysis for monthly internal management reports for review by senior management.
• Accountant is responsible for account reconciliations, for various P&L and balance sheet accounts.
• Ensure timely preparation of journal entries for month-end close, including supporting documentation.
• Accountant will assist with preparation of audit work papers for semi-annual audits (June/December).
• Assist with monthly corporate overhead preparation, to include calculation of corporate overhead cost allocations
• Work on various complex financial models for calculating recoveries and capitalization of corporate overhead costs.
• Support in quarterly corporate forecasting and annual budget processes.
• Collaborate with the team on systems implementations, testing and process improvements.
