Cost Accountant (Manufacturing) Fontana, CA

We're looking for a Cost Accountant to partner closely with operations and play a key role in driving cost efficiency, improving margins, and strengthening financial performance in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

This is a highly visible role where your analysis and recommendations will directly influence decision‑making and operational success.

• Partner with cross‑functional teams to identify cost‑saving opportunities and improve operational performance

• Ensure accurate product costing and inventory valuation through analysis and cycle count oversight

• Maintain and update standard costs, including leading the annual cost roll process

• Provide margin analysis and actionable insights to operations leadership

• Support daily and monthly P&L reporting and financial analysis

• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and long‑term planning

• Lead physical inventory counts and ensure inventory accuracy

• Support ERP system enhancements and process improvements

• Play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, process optimization, etc.)

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance

• 2+ years of cost accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and financial reporting

• Advanced Excel skills and experience working with ERP systems

• Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights

• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
