Senior Accountant
Position Summary The Senior Accountant is responsible for maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the company's financial records, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies, and assisting with audits and financial analysis. This role works closely with cross-functional teams to support business operations and financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities
Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
Experience
- 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Net Suite, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Public accounting experience is a plus.
Skills and Competencies
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in accounting systems and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA or other relevant professional certification.
- Experience with financial consolidations and multi-entity environments.
- Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls.
- Experience supporting audits and regulatory compliance requirements.
