We have a vacancy for a Senior Accountant position for a permanent opportunity in the Agriculture industry in the Porterville, California area. As a Senior Accountant, your duties will include financial statement preparation and consolidation, account analysis and reconciliations, cash flow analysis, budgets and forecasting, audit preparation, and internal control maintenance and regulatory reporting. What you get to do every single day:
- Ensure corporate accounting policies, procedures, and controls are followed when working with business partners and be able to provide support on special requests
- Provide monthly accounting closure procedures and deliverables, which includes journal entries, reconciliations, reports in compliance with GAAP
- Aid in coordinating quarterly reviews and testing with internal and external auditors
- Present Balance Sheet account reconciliations
- Allocate and prepare monthly consolidated P&L and Balance Sheet flux analysis reports for management
- Delegate resources to Ad-hoc projects as necessary
- Strong interest in continuously improving the automation of the accounting and reporting process
- Analyze financial information and report on financial results (trends, performance metrics, benchmarks)
- Partake in various department-wide initiatives
