Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Consulting Accounts Payable Clerk to join our Accounting and Finance team. This role is a perfect fit for individuals who are passionate about numbers, have a strong work ethic, and are eager to grow their career in the finance industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting with a focus on accounts payable and will be comfortable dealing with large volumes of data and financial information.

This role is not for the faint-hearted; it requires a keen eye for detail, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. This exciting opportunity also requires fluency in Spanish.

Responsibilities

As a Consulting Accounts Payable Clerk, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Processing and recording transactions efficiently and accurately.

Managing the complete cycle of accounts payable, including matching, batching, and coding invoices.

Handling data entry tasks and maintaining financial records.

Answering incoming calls and addressing queries related to accounts payable.

Ensuring compliance with standard procedures and policies.

Assisting in the preparation of financial reports.

Reconciling accounts payable transactions.

Maintaining vendor relationships.

Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives.

Using your Spanish language skills to communicate with Spanish-speaking clients or vendors.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you need to have the following qualifications:

A minimum of 1+ years of experience in an accounts payable role or similar.

Proficiency in data entry and 10-key typing.

A strong understanding of accounting principles, especially related to payables.

Exceptional math skills.

Proficiency in Spanish is preferred but not required.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

The ability to follow instructions and to work both independently and as part of a team.

A strong work ethic, reliability, and a teachable attitude.

Experience in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

An associate degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
