Patient Registration Cashier Records Clerk; Chase

Chase & District Health Centre has an exciting opportunity for a Casual Patient Registration Health Records Clerk to join their team in Chase, B.C.

This position works rotating days 07:45 to 15:45 with rotating days off work. Work hours range from 0 to 37.5 per week, with shifts available on short notice or pre-scheduled to cover leaves.

• Patient registration
• Book outpatient appointments
• Pull and assemble charts
• Reception duties
• Cashier functions: journal entry, balances cash daily, prepares bank deposits and cash reports
• Health records duties: pull and assemble charts/files; identify and process corrections; receive and process requests for release of information; pull designated classes of files; review completed charts and files; calculate and maintain statistics; monitor and maintain health record tracking systems

• 5‑minute typing test (45+ NWPM) from a recognized institution completed within the past 48 months (non‑supervised tests not accepted)
• Resume outlining one year of recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Cover letter stating availability to start in a new position and on‑call, casual work (i.e., days of the week)
