Location: Edwards Air Force Base
Duties
* Directly assists the commander/director in the management of all administrative support program functions.
* Serves as the resident subject matter expert for all mandated administrative support programs.
* Serves as the organizational point of contact and liaison with the personnel flight on military personnel issues.
* Assists in planning, administering, and monitoring manpower resource requirements.
* Performs other clerical and administrative work in support of the office/organization. Requirements Conditions of employment

* Will comply with locally directed MTF commander training consistent with AF wide standards and directives applicable to Active Duty and contractor performing similar occupational series duties.
* May be required to provide full administrative support to other sections in Personnel and Admin Flight.
* Administrative duties may involve "after hours" work in addition to regular work hours. Qualifications Experience requirements described in the Office of Personnel Management (OPM) Qualification Standards for General Schedule Positions, Clerical and Administrative Support Positions. GENERAL
EXPERIENCE:
Must have at least 1 year (52 weeks) of general experience equivalent at the next lower grade (NK-1 or GS-04) in Federal service or equivalent in other pay systems or (2) years education above the high school level. General experience includes administrative support programs to include but not limited to task management, cyber-security liaison (CL), Government Travel Card (GTC) program, Defense Travel System (DTS) administrator, drug demand reduction program, health care program, fitness program, Government Purchase Card (GPC) program, safety program, Automated Data Processing Equipment (ADPE) accounts, security program, supply program, civilian time card program and unit recognition program.
Also serves as liaison with personnel flights on personnel issues and assists in oversight of organization manpower resource requirements. IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Candidate has administrative experience with 2 years of customer service desired. Be familiar with military administrative programs to assist with retirements, promotions, assignments, fitness requirements, etc.. Skilled in operational management to maintain personnel records and trackers in an organized and efficient manner. KNOWLEDGE,

1. Knowledge of the organizational and functional responsibilities and operations of an organization.
2. Knowledge of various office automation software programs, tools, and techniques to support office operations and produce a variety of documents such as letters, reports, spreadsheets, databases, and graphs.
3. Knowledge of structure, programs and work methods of organization for personnel/manning issues.
