Automotive Service Technician services and repairs vehicles following all established standards and procedures. In addition, he or she may be assigned to conduct pre-delivery service on new vehicles to ensure excellent working order for the customer. • High school diploma or GED
• Post-secondary automotive training or dealer-level experience
• ASE certification or other automotive certifications
• Valid and unrestricted driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Professional appearance and dependable work ethic
• Strong communication skills and customer service orientation
• Basic computer and internet skills
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Physical stamina – ability to bend, kneel, squat, stand, and lift heavy objects as needed
• Entry-level technician may have prior work experience

• Maintain cleanliness of vehicles while performing service or repairs
• Perform routine service inspections or tests and complete standard maintenance jobs
• Ensure required documentation is complete and compliant with regulations and standards
• Help maintain shop appearance and safety standards and ensure the shop runs efficiently by performing duties such as inventory stocking and other general functions
• Follow all shop policy, procedure, safety, and environmental rules
• Attend all staff meetings, trainings, and educational classes as required
• Perform other duties as assigned

• $2,000 to be paid on the first payroll
• Can earn $2,000 every 3 months for the next 4 quarters if 3-month productivity is 120% or greater
• All bonus earned must be paid back if employee self-terminates before the first year work anniversary
